Tall Tales Round 1
« on: December 11, 2019, 12:36:19 PM »
Anyone heard of Tall Tales?

If not, here's a short explanation: Basically, this is usually a group activity involving storytelling. First person begins a story with 1-2 sentences, next person in the group is supposed to continue the story with another 1-2 sentences in his own unique way, next adds another 1-2 sentences and so on... until the story is developed up to an end.

Again rule is: No consequential posts by the same user. Otherwise, the fun will be ruined.

Maybe, we should give it a try for the sake of it?

Once upon a time, there was a guy named Fred. He lived in a small town in Texas.

He and his lovely wife Jenny owns a house, by an Express way,  not too far from an abandoned mine. They loved everything about the place, besides 1 thing.

Every night at 12 AM, Fred was woken up by strange noises coming from somewhere. He couldn't figure it out for days.

Every night, at exactly 12AM, he would hear the same noise. Surprisingly enough, no one else in his household would ever hear that sound, besides his dog Milo.

He tried to explain the noise to his wife, but all that happened is that she thought he was crazy. So one night, he decided to wait for midnight and check what's that noise for himself.

It was a rainy night, Friday the 13th, he an his trusted house guard Milo, were up! Listening to every drop of rain, as it fell on his porch, trying hard, really really hard, to not miss anything.

Fred and Milo went out. As they were getting closer to the noise, Milo let his fears play out, hid behind his owner and began howling.

And all of a sudden, they heard that weird sound again. Something that they heard before, but this time, instead of outside, it was coming from inside their house!!

They rushed quickly to the house and were shocked about what they found out. Fred's lovely wife was nowhere to be found. He panicked but tried his best not to freak out.

As he frantically looks around, trying to find his dear wife, he hears a loud noise "Thud". It sounded as if something fell on his roof, from the sky?
